Hail Black Authors!  

At Hail Black Authors! our mission is to amplify Black voices by empowering first-time authors to bring their stories to life. We are committed to supporting at least 10 aspiring Black authors annually by covering 70-100% of their publishing costs and providing expert coaching, guidance, and industry insights to help them navigate the publishing world successfully.  

We believe that everyone has a story worth telling, and we aim to break the barriers that prevent many from sharing their narratives. Whether you’re a child dreaming of your first book or an adult ready to share a lifetime of experiences, we are here to help make your publishing journey a reality.  

Applicants are required to submit a compelling book idea through our website and a brief essay detailing their aspirations to become a published author and the challenges they’ve faced along the way. We welcome stories that inspire, educate, and uplift, and we’re honored to play a role in bringing these voices to the world.
